Want to turn on Bluetooth on Windows 10? Yesterday, I had to transfer some data to my phone, and I simply could not find how shall I enable Bluetooth on my laptop.
I found the main reason behind Bluetooth is turned off by default is Windows tries to save the battery. As Bluetooth is considered as an idle resource. But I found this simple way to make it work. This guide will help you to turn your Bluetooth ON in your Windows 10.

3. If you start the pairing mode of your Bluetooth device, it will appear in the list of accessible devices. Choose it then proceed as directed. The device is shown in the list of linked peripherals after you have linked.
Windows 7
Usually, after installing and configuring a Bluetooth adapter on a Windows 7 system, it will automatically activate and ready to be used. In some PCs, such as a notebook with built-in Bluetooth, there may be a keyboard shortcut that turns Bluetooth on or off, or an icon that will execute the same function may be present in the system tray.
There may also be various PCs and Bluetooth adapters with tools to connect to a Bluetooth device.
- Press the Start button and right-click "Devices and Printers" button.
- Select "Add device", pick it, and then click "Next".
- Alternatively, to get started, you can open the Control Panel and access "Hardware and Sound" then "Devices and Printer". Follow the instructions for pairing your device.
